Creative
Although he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb, he has never worked as an engineer.
Over 20 years in the advertising industry as a Chief Creative Officer, he and his team at Imago have won almost all the relevant international and domestic industry awards: Cannes Lions, EuroEffie, LIA, Clio, Eurobest, Golden Drum, AdStars, IdejaX, MIXX, BalCannes, SoMo…
Together with Imago and friends, he founded the first and only agency in the region dedicated to socially responsible projects and campaigns—Hearth. Boranka, Velikanke, Compensating by Planting, Crošnjica… are just some of the projects through which Hearth strives to make the world a better place.
Beyond the agency side, he has also tried his hand at business and marketing as an entrepreneur. He is the originator and co-owner of the restaurant La Štruk, which over thirteen years has become a world-renowned spot, included in the itineraries of almost every travel agency that organizes trips to Croatia. It has been featured by The New York Times, Lonely Planet, American Vogue, CNN, the Daily Mail… and is listed in Air France’s Michelin travel guide, as well as Gault&Millau, TasteAtlas, Restaurant Guru, and others.
In addition to La Štruk, he is the co-owner and originator of the House of the Dalmatian Dog in Šibenik, and a co-owner of the Cravaticum Tie Museum in Zagreb.
Although very different in expression, all three projects share the same core idea—how to present something locally authentic to the world in an engaging way and turn it into an unmissable tourist destination.
