He is also an executive member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in the Department of Fine Arts and a member of the Board of the Scientific Council for Tourism and Urbanism of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Additionally, he has served as president of the Management Board of HURA (the Croatian Association of Marketing Communications Agencies) and was a member of the Working Group of the President of the Republic of Croatia for the development of the country’s identity and brand.
The lecture “If you do something interesting, everyone will talk about you” is about the process behind projects that achieved outstanding business results, won numerous awards, and attracted the attention of global media. Davor Bruketa shows how ideas that transcend categories are created, what the criteria for being “interesting” are in practice, and how strategy, design, and production work together to make brands become relevant news.
